Philosophy of Practice
Important elements of practice for me include:
- Common sense
- Medical knowledge and experience
- Psychological knowledge and experience
- Conscientious caring
The mind and the body are ultimately the same thing, viewed from different perspectives. Most mental, emotional, and behavioral difficulties can be conceptualized from either point of view, but in a given situation the biological and the psychological way of looking at things will have different advantages and disadvantages.
